How to Make Prawn And Broccoli Stir Fry Recipe

STEP 01

1 wash and pat dry 275 gm of shelled and deveined prawns to remove excess moisture.

STEP 02

2 place the prawns in a mixing bowl, add 1 egg white, 2 tbsp cornflour and mix well to coat the prawns.

STEP 03

3 fill a saucepan with water and bring it to a boil. Add florets of 1 small broccoli cut into bite size pieces and blanch for 2 minutes. Then remove and drain.

STEP 04

4 in a wok heat 1 ltr oil for deep frying .when hot add the prawns and fry for 30 seconds.

STEP 05

5 use a slotted spoon to remove and drain the prawns from the hot oil.

STEP 06

6 in a pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, ½ cm finely chopped ginger and stir.

STEP 07

7 add the blanched broccoli, the fried prawns, 1 tsp white pepper, salt to taste and stir fry for 2 minutes.

STEP 08

8 transfer to a dish and serve.
