  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

  • 4 cup canned hominy drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon or substitute for chicken broth

How to Make Pozole Blacon Recipe

STEP 01

Add all the chicken in a pot, along with onion, garlic, salt, pepper and 5 cups of water, cover and cook for an hour.

STEP 02

Remove the chicken and reserve the water

STEP 03

Shred the chicken after its cold

STEP 04

Add the shredded chicken in a pot. Add hominy and oregano, remaining water, chicken bouillon,and cook it at low flame for about 45 minutes.
