  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed or whole fennel seeds
  • 2 Cloves Nos
  • 4 Garlic chopped cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped Nos
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorn crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 3 Potatoes peeled and diced Nos
  • 1 cup Peas steamed
  • 1.50 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water to pressure cook

Directions: Potatoes And Peas Curry In Coconut Milk Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pressure cooker add 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds ,1 tsp crushed or whole fennel seeds and 2 cloves. Saute for a few seconds. Then add 4 cloves chopped garlic and 1 inch ginger finely chopped and 1 onion finely chopped. Saute till onion softens.

  • STEP 1.Then add ½ tsp crushed black peppercorn, 1tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp cumin powder.

  • STEP 1.To this add3 potatoes peeled and diced, 1 ½ cup coconut milk, ¼ cup water and mix to combine well.

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook for 3 whistles and turn off the heat. Allow pressure to release naturally.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Open the cooker and return to the heat. Stir and add ¼ cup water to adjust consistency.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Then add 1 cup steamed peas. Stir to mix well. Give it a brisk boil and turn off the heat.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Spoon into a serving bowl and serve with milagu sadam and raita.
