Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Peel and dice them into small cubes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and saut茅 for a minute. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add the diced potatoes and mix until they are well coated with the spices. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Pour water into the pan, cover, and simmer until the potatoes are cooked through and the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roti, or naan bread.
