My obsession with potatoes will never end. Today I made this easy potato Julian 65 for snacks. Now my few evening time are best with these yummy spicy snacks. Wannabe try to make it 😀 just go through my blog, page and Fb grp for details.

Ingredients for Potato Julian 65 Recipe

  • 0.83 Pieces Whole potato
  • As Required Oil for deep fry
  • 0.33 Tbsp Homemade
  • A Handful Curry leaves
  • 0.17 tsp Gg paste
  • 10.83 As Required Salt

Directions: Potato Julian 65 Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take equal length of potatoes, trim four sides as a piece of square and then cut into julian.
  • STEP 2.Cutting in julian was time taking but for perfect size you should be patients with potatoes
  • STEP 3.For extra crispiness make sure that each potato Julian's should be dried so remove as much moisture as possible, well before submerging them in the oil. Through this more bubbles will not occur in oil.
  • STEP 4.After all dried, take on large bowl add 65 spices sprinkle few drops of water give a nice toss to coat all Julian's.
  • STEP 5.Keep ready a dry colander covered with a paper.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil on medium temperature, add with a handful of potato Julian's at a time, take  a fork to tap on fries to ensure that will not stick to each other,  fry for 2 to 3  minutes on low flame, then drain on a colander.
  • STEP 7.Once cool change the place and keep colander empty for next fried batch.
  • STEP 8.Take a handful of curry leaves and fry them in hot oil, take some, crush and put them on the potatoes, toss well add whole fried curry leaves as well.
  • STEP 9.Ready to eat and share.
  • STEP 10.Store in a jar for evening snack.
  • STEP 11.*You can also add herbs to change the taste.
  • STEP 12.* Lemon can be squeezed for sourness.
  • STEP 13.* You can prepare tiffin by mixing it with plain rice. It is better if you have cold rice.
  • STEP 14.* Make a dough by grinding tomato onion and put these fried julienne potatoes 65 in it, do not let any boil or else it will become soft.
  • STEP 15.* Chaat becomes very tasty.
