Ingredients for Pomegranate Shot Golgappa Recipe

  • As required For the Golgappa Filling:
  • 3 nos • crispy golgappas (pani puris)
  • 1 nos • medium boiled potatoes (mashed)
  • 1 tbsp • boiled chickpeas (optional
  • As required for texture)
  • 1/2 tbsp • finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tbsp • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp • roasted cumin powder
  • As required • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • As required • ½ tsp black salt
  • As required • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • As required • ½ tsp lemon juice (or ½ tsp amchur powder)
  • 1/2 tsp • tamarind chutney
  • 1/2 tsp • green chutney (mint-coriander)
  • 1 tbsp • fresh pomegranate seeds
  • As required For the Juice Base:
  • 1/2 cup • fresh pomegranate juice
  • As required • Aashirvaad Red chili powder + Aashirvaad salt (for glass rim)
  • As required • A few mint leaves for garnishing

Directions: Pomegranate Shot Golgappa Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Prepare the Shot Glass Base
  • STEP 2.• Take small shot glasses and rim them with lemon juice.
  • STEP 3.• Dip rims into a red chili powder + salt mix for a tangy-spicy edge.
  • STEP 4.• Pour fresh pomegranate juice into each glass.
  • STEP 5.2. Make the Potato Masala Filling
  • STEP 6.• In a mixing bowl, mash boiled potatoes and chickpeas.
  • STEP 7.• Add onion, coriander, cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt, chili powder, and lemon juice/amchur.
  • STEP 8.• Mix in tamarind chutney (sweetness) and green chutney (freshness).
  • STEP 9.• Toss in pomegranate seeds for a juicy crunch.
  • STEP 10.3. Assemble the Golgappa Shots
  • STEP 11.• Gently crack open the top of each golgappa.
  • STEP 12.• Fill with the prepared potato masala.
  • STEP 13.• Place each stuffed golgappa on top of the shot glass filled with pomegranate juice.
  • STEP 14.• Garnish with a mint leaf and a few pomegranate seeds.
