Ingredients for Poha kheer with coconut milk Recipe

  • 0.13 Cup Poha medium (red or white )
  • 1/4 Cup Jaggery
  • 0.63 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut milk
  • A Pinch Saffron strands - Few
  • As Required Cashews -As required
  • As Required Pistachios
  • As Required Kismiss
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • As Required Chironji -As required
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ghee or vegan butter

Directions: Poha Kheer With Coconut Milk Recipe

  • STEP 1.1.Dry roast poha in pan till it turnS crisp. Keep it aside 2.Add teaspoon of ghee or vegan butter and roast dry fruits and keep it aside 3.Add jaggery and 1/4 cup water in pan and allow it to melt completely. 4.Once done, strain mixture to remove any impurities 5.Now in pan,add 1 cup water, Few saffron strands and allow it boil . 6.Once it comes to boil,add roasted poha and allow it to cook completely.Mash it little bit not fully 7.Now add strained jaggery syrup,cardamom powder, and allow it to boil for few minutes . 8. Once done Turn off stove and add coconut milk and Mix it well . 9.Make sure it’s free of lumps and mix in the heat without turning on stove . 10.Finally garnish with fried nuts of choice and serve warm or chilled and relish this creamy and healthy kheer
