Ingredients for Plum cake Recipe

  • 0.42 cup Maida
  • 0.13 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.63 tbsp Molasses
  • 0.13 cup Oil
  • 0.38 tsp baking soda
  • 0.13 cup Milk
  • 0.13 cup Cashew nuts and almonds
  • 1/2 cups Soaked dry fruits in grape juice almost
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • As required lemon zest
  • 0.06 tsp Cinnamon powder or spice powder th
  • As required Cashews
  • As required Walnuts
  • As required black dry grapes
  • As required dried oranges and sugar crystals for topping and decorating

Directions: Plum Cake Recipe

  • STEP 1.*To prepare molasses
  • STEP 2.In a pan add brown sugar and allow it to caramelize on a low flame..now mix gently and when complete sugar gets caramelized add little water and stir.. allow to cool down..
  • STEP 3.*Soaked dry fruits
  • STEP 4.I have used cashews, almonds,grapes,black grapes ,pista, raspberries, blueberries, tutti fruiti, dry oranges finely chopped and boil in grape juice.. cool down and use.
  • STEP 5.* To prepare plum cake
  • STEP 6.In a bowl add oil, brown sugar, molasses and mix well..
  • STEP 7.Now add maida, baking soda mix and lemon zest, cinnamon powder or spice powder, honey mix well..
  • STEP 8.Add milk and mix well now add cashews, almonds,soaked dry fruits, vanilla essence mix and pour into a baking mould..
  • STEP 9.Top with cashews, walnuts and black grapes..
  • STEP 10.Bake in a preheated oven for 35 to 40mins at 180°c
  • STEP 11.Cool down, decorate with dry oranges,sugar crystals,cut and enjoy ☺️☺️
