Plantain tree is one god gifted plant where all parts can be used for cooking. Mostly in south india plantain stem is widely used as poriyal or kootu.. Here i've added toor dhal and grated coconut to enhance the flavor with onion, chilli, garlic, and tempered it with regular seasoning. Healthy and tasty kootu which can be eaten every day by all especially diabetic patients.
