Ingredients for Plain dosa with coriander chutney Recipe

  • 1.33 Cups Dosa batter
  • 1 Cups Coriander leaves
  • 2.33 Pieces Red chilly
  • 0.67 Tbsps Urad dal
  • 0.67 Tbsps Channa dal
  • 0.33 Pieces Tamarind
  • A Handful arlic pods
  • As Required Salt
  • 0.33 Tsp Jeera
  • 0.67 Tsps Oil
  • 0.33 Tsp Mustard
  • A Handful Curry leaves
  • 1 Pieces Shallots

Directions: Plain Dosa With Coriander Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.Make dosa with ghee.
  • STEP 2.For making chutney, heat oil in a pan. Add urad dal, channa dal, red chilly, few curry leaves and fry till dal gets golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add garlic pods, jeera, salt and tamarind saute 30secs. Add coriander leaves and saute it till it shrinks. (You can add a handful of grated coconut at this stage if needed and mix well). Let it cool down. Grind the mixture with little water to a paste. You can grind little coarsely also according to your texture. Heat coconut oil, temper with mustard, urad dal, red chilly, curry leaves and shallots. Once it gets fried add the chutney mixture. Add water according to your thickness and switch off the stove. Serve hot with idly or dosa.
