Ingredients for Plain Dosa Recipe

  • 1/4 Cups Urad Dal
  • 3/4 Cups Rice
  • 1/4 Tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • As Required Salt
  • As Required ghee + for cook
  • As Required water

Directions: Plain Dosa Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soaked the urad Dal and rice overnight. Then wash it properly. Then grind both in a mixer and make a smooth textured batter.
  • STEP 2.Then cover the batter with a plate and allow it to get fermented for 7 hours.
  • STEP 3.After that add drop by drop batter to get relatively a soft and slight batter. Then add salt to it.
  • STEP 4.Then take a dosa pan. Sprinkle water on it to bring the temperature down. Spread ghee on it. Then with a gentle hand speak a batter and make dosas.
  • STEP 5.When your dosa is cooked it will the edges. Then fold the dosa and take it out in a plate.
  • STEP 6.Serve the dosa with coconut chutney, sambar or red chutney. Enjoy the delicious south Indian dish with your family.
