Ingredients for Pittu Recipe

  • 200 gram scraped coconut
  • pinch A salt
  • 1.50 cup white rice flour
  • As required Lukewarm Water

Directions: Pittu Recipe

  • STEP 1.Lightly roast the rice flour in a pan .
  • STEP 2.In a bowl take shredded coconut, a pinch of salt, and a little water.
  • STEP 3.Mix everything well.
  • STEP 4.Add the coconut mixture to the rice flour and mix everything well
  • STEP 5.Fill water in the lower compartment of the pittu maker and heat it until the vapours start coming out of the vent.
  • STEP 6.Fill the upper compartment of pittu maker with the prepared mixture.
  • STEP 7.Cook it until the steam starts coming off.
  • STEP 8.Take it out in a plate once it cools down a bit and your pittu is ready to be served.
