It is a thick and flavorful soup that is often served as a part of a Gujarati thali or as a comforting meal on its own. Pithi is made by cooking a mixture of lentils, such as toor dal and moong dal, with spices like turmeric, cumin, and mustard seeds. The soup is then tempered with ghee and garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
