Ingredients for Potato capsicum fry Recipe

  • 83.33 gms Potato
  • 25 g Capsicum
  • 16.67 g Onion
  • 0.33 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 0.08 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 0.17 tsp chilly powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.67 tbsp Oil
  • 0.67 tbsp Corriander seeds
  • 0.33 tbsp Urad Dal
  • 0.17 tsp jeera
  • 0.33 tsp Pepper corn
  • 0.08 tsp Asafoetida
  • A Stalk Curry leaves

Directions: Potato Capsicum Fry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Dry roast the corriander seeds,urad dal,jeera,and pepper corn seperately and grind to a coarse powder.
  • STEP 2.Wash and peel the potatoes and cut to cubes.
  • STEP 3.Boil water and cook the potato to 80%.
  • STEP 4.Drain and keep aside.
  • STEP 5.Chop the capsicum.
  • STEP 6.Chop the onion and garlic.
  • STEP 7.Heat oil in a pan
  • STEP 8.Add jeera.
  • STEP 9.Add onion and saute till translucent.Add garlic and curry leaves and saute.
  • STEP 10.Add turmeric powder and mix.
  • STEP 11.Add the cooked potato and saute on high flame .when the water is dried ,add capsicum and stir fry for a while.Add salt and check seasoning.
  • STEP 12.Finally add 2 tsp of the ground masala and mix nicely.
  • STEP 13.The potato capsicum fry is ready to serve.
