Ingredients for Pinni Recipe

  • 0.19 cup urad dal
  • 1/4 cup clarified butter
  • 0.06 cup Semolina
  • 0.19 cup Mawa
  • 5-6.25 No.s Cashews
  • 7.50-8.75 No.s almonds
  • 1/2 tablespoon edible gum
  • 75 gram Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Directions: Pinni Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. soak the dal in water and then grind it in a blender. heat ½ cup butter in a pan and roast the semolina and dal paste.

step 2

  • STEP 1. roast it well till it turns golden brown. once the dal gets roasted take it out in a bowl and roast mawa in the same pan till it turns light brown.

step 3

  • STEP 1. now roast the dry fruits in a pan with a little bit of clarified butter on medium flame.

step 4

  • STEP 1. in a pan add sugar and ½ cup water and cook it till the sugar dissolves completely.

step 5

  • STEP 1. add the dal mixture and dry fruits in sugar syrup and mix it well. once it cools down add cardamom powder, mawa, ghee and mix well.

step 6

  • STEP 1. give it a cubical shape with your hands and garnish with some dry fruits.
