Moreover, the easy and quick-to-make process is definitely an add-on. This pilaf recipe is a version of the Indian pulao and is cooked in a flavourful chicken broth. Quite similar in terms of nutrition and taste, this pilaf won’t disappoint you at all. What’s more? The dish can be made with just seven ingredients.

Ingredients for Pilaf Recipe

  • 2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Small Onion 1/2
  • 1 Tomato
  • 2 cup Rice Any kind of rice
  • 4 cup Liquid Chicken stock or Water
  • As required Cilantro, Mint or Parsley for Garnish

Directions: Pilaf Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Heat a deep-bottomed pan and add 2 tbsp oil to it.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Once the oil is hot enough, add 1 tbsp minced garlic and 1 diced onion to it and saute.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Next, add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes till the tomatoes are mushy.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Next, add 2 cups of rice, the chicken stock water followed by salt and chilli powder for seasoning and mix well to incorporate.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Cook for 8-10 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Transfer the rice into a bowl, garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
