Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Saute until the seeds crackle.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saute until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add the marinated chicken and cook until it is almost done.
  • STEP 5.Wrap the chicken in a banana leaf and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Open the banana leaf and cook for a few more minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
