Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and cut the cauliflower into medium-sized florets.
  • STEP 2.Prepare a marinade by mixing together yogurt, mustard paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and a pinch of sugar.
  • STEP 3.Coat the cauliflower florets with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Take banana leaves and cut them into square pieces. Blanch them in hot water to make them pliable.
  • STEP 5.Place a marinated cauliflower floret in the center of a banana leaf square and fold the leaf to form a packet. Secure it with a toothpick.
  • STEP 6.Repeat the process with the remaining cauliflower florets.
