Naan made with leavened flour, yogurt, stuffed with coarsely powdered dry fruits ad cooked on the tawa. It is a yeast-leavened bread, center filled with dessicated coconut, raisins and flaked almonds. Hence it is stuffed with coarsely powdered dry fruits and cooked on tawa. Peshwari naan is an enriched Mughlai dessert that is widely famous and prepared all over the world.

Ingredients for Peshwari Naan Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Refined flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon castor sugar
  • 0.17 teaspoon Yeast
  • 0.17 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.17 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.17 cup Milk
  • 0.33 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/25 cup Pistachios
  • 1/25 cup white sesame seeds
  • 1/25 cup onion seeds/ kalonji
  • 1/25 cup melon seeds
  • 0.08 cup mozzarella cheese

Directions: Peshwari Naan Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a bowl add refined flour, yeast, salt, sugar,baking powder, milk and some oil.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 leave the dough aside for 30 minutes to raise and double up.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 dust some flour on a board and make a small ball out of dough and roll it in a shape of naan.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 lift it up and place on a baking map.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 brush some butter on the naan and sprinkle sesame seeds, black sesame, crushed pistachios and melon seeds.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 roll it lightly so all the seeds stick to the naan well.

step 7

  • STEP 7.1 put this in a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 8.2 take your naan out and add some grated cheese on top and keep it in the oven untill th cheese melts.
