  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • STEP 5.Add tamarind pulp, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked dal and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Add water to adjust the consistency and bring it to a boil.
  • STEP 8.Simmer for a few minutes until the flavors are well combined.
