Ingredients for Pepper Beef Jollof Rice Recipe

  • 3 cup basmati rice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 cup beef stock
  • 2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 teaspoon Rosemary
  • 2 teaspoon Thyme
  • 12 Nos garlic cloves
  • 2 Nos bay leaves
  • As required Salt
  • 2 Nos onion
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • As required Black pepper
  • 2 Nos red bell pepper
  • 2 Nos tomatoes plum
  • 1 Nos scotch bonnet
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 1.50 pound Beef
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 Nos habanero
  • 2 teaspoon seasoning powder
  • 1 Nos small onion
  • As required Salt and black pepper

Directions: Pepper Beef Jollof Rice Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pan take bell red & habanero peppers, onion, tomatoes & garlic. Brush all with some olive oil. Now put the pan into 425 degree preheated oven and cook for 20 minutes. In a bowl add beef, rosemary, thyme, seasoning powder, black pepper, salt and curry powder. mix all ingredients. Now let the baled stuff cool down and blend it along with ginger and water. Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 10 mins. After 10 minutes add a cup of water and cook it for another 10 minutes. Now turn off the gas and separate the beef from gravy. In a fresh pan add 6 tbsp oil and heat it. Now add the cooked beef into the pan and saute it until brown. Once browned take it out in a plate.

step 3

  • STEP 1.In the same pan add sliced onions and saute. Add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and fry for a few seconds and then add blended pepper paste. Then add black pepper smoked paprika, seasoning powder, curry powder thyme and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add rice mix and beef sauce. Cover the pan with foil and mix it well.
