How to Make Pepper Beef Jollof Rice Recipe

step 1


In a pan take bell red & habanero peppers, onion, tomatoes & garlic. Brush all with some olive oil. Now put the pan into 425 degree preheated oven and cook for 20 minutes. In a bowl add beef, rosemary, thyme, seasoning powder, black pepper, salt and curry powder. mix all ingredients. Now let the baled stuff cool down and blend it along with ginger and water. Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it.

Cover the pan with the lid and cook for 10 mins. After 10 minutes add a cup of water and cook it for another 10 minutes. Now turn off the gas and separate the beef from gravy. In a fresh pan add 6 tbsp oil and heat it. Now add the cooked beef into the pan and saute it until brown. Once browned take it out in a plate.

In the same pan add sliced onions and saute. Add 2 tbsp of tomato sauce and fry for a few seconds and then add blended pepper paste. Then add black pepper smoked paprika, seasoning powder, curry powder thyme and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Add rice mix and beef sauce. Cover the pan with foil and mix it well.
