Ingredients for Pepe'R Shukto Recipe

  • 225 gram pepe
  • 5 gram Salt
  • 200 gram Water
  • 50 gram masoor dal
  • 15 gram vegetable oil
  • 2 piece bay leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 4 piece korola pata
  • 10 gram ginger paste
  • 8 gram Sugar
  • 45 gram Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon maida
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ghee

  • STEP 1.Cut the raw papaya into diced shape

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cook it with salt and water for 8 mins on low heat

  • STEP 3.Take the masoor dal and make a fine paste

step 4

  • STEP 4.Fry the paste into small balls and set aside

step 5

  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a kadhai

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add bay leaves,mustard seeds, korola leaves

step 7

  • STEP 7.Set the korola leaves aside

step 8

  • STEP 8.Add ginger paste in the kadhai

step 9

  • STEP 9.Add the cooker papaya

step 10

  • STEP 10.Add sugar and the fried dal balls

step 11

  • STEP 11.Add the karola leaves

step 12

  • STEP 12.Add a mixture of flour and milk

step 13

  • STEP 13.Cook for 3 mins

step 14

  • STEP 14.Add ghee at the end

step 15

  • STEP 15.Serve as a side dish with rice
