A tasty fried rice flavoured with soy sauce, hoisin sauce ,sesame oil and chives. This Chinese “House Special” Fried Rice is a delicious rice dish made of shrimp, pork loin, BBQ pork, chicken, soy, garlic, and ginger, along with the customary scrambled eggs and vegetables. The browning comes from the natural browning of the ingredient, such as garlic, onion etc. Brown the ingredient before adding rice will brown the rice.

Ingredients for Peking House Fried Rice Recipe

  • 400 gram Cooked Rice
  • 30 gram Chives
  • 1/2 piece Ginger
  • 1 No.s Spring onion
  • 2 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Hoisin sauce sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
  • As required Salt

Directions: Peking House Fried Rice Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a wok heat 2 tbsp oil till smoking hot, add 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic, 1 finely chopped spring onion, ½ cm finely chopped ginger, 1 tsp Chinese five spice and stir fry for a few seconds.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Add 400 gm cooked rice and stir fry for 9 minutes until heated through hand fluffy.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add 2 to 3 tbsp hoisin sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce and stir fry for 2 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add 30 gm finely chopped chives, 1 tbsp sesame oil and stir for a few seconds. Turn off the heat in wok and serve hot.
