  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 No.s Dry red chilly chopped

  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Grated coconut

How to Make Peechinga Thoran Recipe

STEP 01

Peel off the skin off the ridge gourd.

STEP 01

Split open and remove the fleshy part from the centre.

STEP 01

In a pan splutter ½ tsp mustard seeds in oil and add ½ tsp cumin seeds.

STEP 01

Now add in chopped green chilly, dry red chilly, shallots and a sprig of curry leaves. Saute till it becomes tender.

Then add 1 ridge gourd which is finely chopped into pieces.

Mix well ingredientsand add a pinch of salt to taste.

Cook in a low flame for around 5-7 minutes.

Add ½ cup of grated coconut and continue to stir cook for another 2-3 minutes.
