  • 0.63 En Chilies, Finely Chopped

  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine roasted peanuts, soaked poha, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and spices.
  • STEP 2.Mix well to form a thick batter. If needed, add a little water to adjust the consistency.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 4.Remove the pakodas from the oil and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the poha in water for a few minutes before using it in the batter. This will soften the poha and make it easier to mix.
  • You can add finely chopped vegetables like carrots or bell peppers to the batter for added crunch and flavor.
