Ingredients for Pazham Idli Recipe

  • 3/4 cup Banana puree
  • 1/2 No.s Banana
  • As required Raisins A few
  • 3/4 cup Roasted Rice flour
  • 4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Water

Directions: Pazham Idli Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop banana. Add it to a jar and grind to make banana puree.

step 2

  • STEP 2.1 take banana puree in a bowl and add 3-4tbsp sugar, a pinch of salt. Mix well.

step 3

  • STEP 3.2 gradually add 3/4cup rice flour and mix well to make the batter.

step 4

  • STEP 4.3 add some water accordingly. The consistency of batter should be the same as that of idli batter.

step 5

  • STEP 5.4 add raisins and chopped banana. Mix well.

step 6

  • STEP 6.5 boil water in an idli steamer. Add a pinch of baking soda in the prepared banana batter.mix well.

step 7

  • STEP 7.6 pour the batter in the idli mould. Top it with cashew nuts/cake fruit/dry fruits as per your wish. Cook it for 10 mins in steam.
