Gujarati Patra Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Gujarati Patra is a popular Gujarati snack made with colocasia leaves (arbi ke patte) and a flavorful gram flour (besan) filling. The colocasia leaves are coated with a spiced gram flour paste, rolled tightly, and steamed until cooked. The steamed rolls are then sliced and tempered with mustard seeds, sesame seeds, and curry leaves. This dish has a unique combination of flavors, with the earthiness of colocasia leaves and the tanginess of the gram flour filling.
