  • 0.13 cup Toor Dal
  • 0.06 cup Chana Dal
  • 0.06 cup Urad Dal
  • 0.63 En Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak a mixture of lentils and rice for a few hours.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked lentils and rice into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the batter.
  • STEP 4.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter onto it.
  • STEP 5.Spread the batter in a circular motion to form a dosai.
  • STEP 6.Drizzle some oil around the edges of the dosai.
  • STEP 7.Cook until the dosai turns golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 8.Flip the dosai and cook the other side as well.
  • STEP 9.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
