Ingredients for Parippu Vada Recipe
- 25 gram Toor Dal
- 0.13 No.s Onion
- 0.13 No.s Green Chilli
- 0.13 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
- 0.63 No.s Garlic Cloves
- 0.06 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1/4 No.s Red Chilli
- 0.06 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
- 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida
- As required Salt
- A Few Curry leaves

How to Make Parippu Vada Recipe
Preparation Directions
STEP 01
Soak dal in water for 4-6hrs and then drain off the excess water.
STEP 02
Remove 2tbsp of soaked dal in a bowl. Keep it aside.
Cooking Directions
STEP 01
Take dal in a jar and pulse it.Transfer it to a bowl and keep it aside.
STEP 02
Take chopped onion,green chilli, fennel seed, garlic, ginger paste,red chilli and red chilli powder in a jar. Pulse it.
STEP 03
Add this mixture with the pulsed dal and add salt to taste. Mix well without adding water.
STEP 04
Add 2tbsp whole dal which was kept aside in the beginning. Add some chopped curry leaves. Mix it well for at least 1 min.
STEP 05
Heat oil in a pan
STEP 06
Take a small portion from the mixture and make a ball. Slightly press the ball with your palm to shape the vada.
STEP 07
Fry the vada in medium flame. When both sides of the vada become golden brown, take it out of the pan.
STEP 08
Repeat step 5 and 6 for the rest of the mixture.
STEP 09
Tasty and healthy chai snack is ready to be served.

If you want more crispy parippu vada then make small balls of mixture.
