  • 3 No.s Small size Papad
  • 2 tablespoon Desi ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 piece Ginger, minced
  • 3 No.s Green chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Onion
  • 1 cup Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves for serving

How to Make Papad Dal Methi Recipe

STEP 01

Take a boiler, add 3 cups of water in it.

STEP 02

Add fenugreek seeds in it. Make a boil and switch off the flame.

STEP 03

Take 3 small papad

STEP 04

S in pieces.

STEP 05

Take a bowl and a cup of curd, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder,  coriander seeds and salt. Whisk the curd nicely.

STEP 06

Take a hot pan with some ghee and add some cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies,kashmiri red chilli, garlic cloves and roast for a few minutes on medium flames.

STEP 07

Add the mixture of curd prepared earlier. Keep stirring continuously.

STEP 08

Then add the fenugreek seeds and cook for 2 minutes more until they soften. Add some water as per the need.

STEP 10

At the end add the papad bites and fresh mint leaves and coriander leaves and cook for a few minutes

STEP 11

Garnish with some garam masala.
