Panjiri Recipe

This is a simple panjiri prasad recipe which is prepared with ghee, wheat flour, semolina and loaded with the goodness of healthy nuts. Panjiri is usually preferred as a prasad for most of the puja's and holy gatherings.

Ingredients for Panjiri Recipe

  • 250 gram Wheat flour
  • 2 cup Sugar
  • 1.50 cup Ghee
  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 20 No.s Sugar batashe/toffees

Directions: Panjiri Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Heat a pan and roast the wheat on medium flame till it turns golden brown.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Now add ghee and mix well with flour and cook for 5- 6 more minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Add cashews, cardamom and almonds and mix well. Make sure to cook properly and leave no raw smell

step 4

  • STEP 4.Take it off heat and prepare to cool it down at room temperature. Add batashe to it and mix.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Add sugar as per your taste. Panjiri is ready, it can be peserved for 12-20 days.
