Ingredients for Paneer tikka masala Recipe

  • 1/5 cup Bite-Size Paneer
  • 1/5 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1/10 inch Fresh ginger
  • 0.60 g Small garlic cloves
  • 1/5 Pieces Medium onion
  • 0.40 Cups Small tomatoes
  • 1.60 Pieces soaked cashews / almonds
  • 1/5 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 0.40 tbsp Cream
  • 1/10 tbsp Honey
  • 0.80 tbsp Oil
  • 1/5 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 0.60 g reen Cardamoms - crushed into a fine powder
  • 0.40 Pieces Cloves - crushed into fine powder
  • 1/10 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/10 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/5 tbsp kasuri methi
  • 1/10 tsp Garam masala
  • to taste Salt

Directions: Paneer Tikka Masala Recipe

  • STEP 1.MAKE THE CURRY PASTE:
  • STEP 2.Add onion, tomato, ginger+garlic, cashews and make a smooth paste.
  • STEP 3.COOK THE PANEER:
  • STEP 4.Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan.
  • STEP 5.Add cubed paneer in the pan and saute for a minute or till lightly golden.
  • STEP 6.Remove from pan and keep aside.
  • STEP 7.MAKE PANEER TIKKA MASALA:
  • STEP 8.In the same pan, heat 3 tbsp of oil for a minute.
  • STEP 9.Add bay leaf, curry paste and saute for another minute (medium flame).
  • STEP 10.Now add the turmeric, salt, chili powder, cardamom powder, clove powder and saute.
  • STEP 11.Lower the flame, cover the pan and let this cook for 3-4 minutes (saute every minute)(This ensure the onions along with other ingredients are properly cooked).
  • STEP 12.Once the curry paste is cooked, add yogurt, tomato ketchup and saute.
  • STEP 13.Let this simmer for 2 minutes over lower heat. (You'd see the gravy thickening up and imparting a pretty orange color).
  • STEP 14.Now, add cream, kasuri methi, garam masala, 1/4 cup water and saute.
  • STEP 15.Finally, add paneer and mix everything.
  • STEP 16.Let this simmer on medium heat for 2-3 minutes and then turn off the heat.
  • STEP 17.Transfer to a serving bowl and decorate with whisked yogurt, kasuri methi, and ginger.
  • STEP 18.Serve hot with choice of side
