Paneer Tikka is a famous Indian appetizer where pieces of paneer are marinated with yogurt and spices and then grilled until charred. It is an excellent source of casein protein, which helps boost muscle growth along with a ton of other benefits. Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes.

Ingredients for Paneer Tikka Recipe

  • 200 gram Paneer Cubes
  • 1 No.s red bell pepper
  • 1 No.s green bell pepper
  • 1 No.s Onion
  • 1 No.s Tomato
  • As required Ingredients For Marinade
  • 1/4 cup hung curd or yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon gram flour
  • 2 teaspoon Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves or kasuri methi
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Paste
  • 2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • As required Salt
  • As required Red chili Powder

Directions: Paneer Tikka Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take paneer cubes and deseed and dice the vegetables. Mix all ingredients for marinade. Add the diced vegetables and paneer cubes to the marinade.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Mix gently until paneer and vegetables are well coated with the marinade. Refrigerate it for minimum 1 hour

step 3

  • STEP 1.Skew the veggies and paneer alternately on skewers or tooth picks.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Heat a non- stick pan and cook the paneer skewers on a medium flame using oil till the paneer and veggies are light brown in color from all sides. Your paneer tikka is ready to be served.
