The bhaji made in this dish is filled with juicy succulent paneer pieces that absord all the desi flavor and serves itself as a classic dish with a twist that is loved by all. Paneer pav bhaji is one of the most tasty Indian street foods.

Ingredients for Paneer Pav Bhaji Recipe

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 1 No.s Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 No.s green capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup homemade tomato puree
  • 4 No.s potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower florets
  • 2 No.s carrots finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala
  • 1 cup paneer grated
  • bunch A finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 Lemon juice Nos
  • As required Salt
  • As required Pavs

Directions: Paneer Pav Bhaji Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Into a preheated pressure cooker add 2 tbsp butter, 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 1 onion finely chopped and 1 green capsicum finely chopped. Saute until the onions and capsicum are soft.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Then add ½ cup homemade tomato puree, 4 potatoes peeled and diced, ½ cup cauliflower florets, 2 carrots finely chopped, 2 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1 tbsp chaat masala. Add required water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles in order for vegetables to become very soft and mushy. Allow the pressure to release naturally.

  • STEP 1.Then mash the vegetables with a potatoes masher till almost smooth.

  • STEP 1.Next add 1 cup of grated paneer, a small bunch of finely chopped coriander leaves, juice of 1 lemon and salt to taste. Bhaji is ready.

  • STEP 1.Cut the pav buns in halves and smear herbed butter. Place the pav buns in a hot pan and toast till they become golden and crispy.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Spoon some bhaji onto a plate and sprinkle chopped onion. Serve hot with the crispy pav.
