STEP 1.In pan heat the butter and oil, add whole spices, ginger, Chilli, garlic, onion and tomatoes and cook it completely by adding salt and water. Cool at room temperature and make a fine paste and sieve it
STEP 2.In another pan heat oil and butter add cumin seeds and above paste and all the other ingredients in it and cook for 10-15 minutes
STEP 3.Garnish with coriander and serve it hot with roti, paratha, Naan or kulcha.
STEP 4.Whole spices means cinnamon stick, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, bay leaf and star anise.
