Ingredients for Paneer Cutlet Recipe

  • 1 cup paneer / cottage cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 No.s carrot, grated
  • 1/2 No.s green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon amchur / dry mango powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1/4 Tsp salt as per your preference
  • 0.13 cup corn flour
  • 0.13 teaspoon pepper, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon maida / refined flour
  • 0.13 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon oil for shallow frying

Directions: Paneer Cutlet Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add 2 cups paneer1 cup potato,( boiled and mashed), 2 tbsp of chopped onion, ½ grated carrot, 1 chopped green chili, ½ tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp kashmiri red chili powder, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, ½ tsp amchur, ½ tsp garam masala, 2 tbsp corn flour, ½ tsp salt and prepare a dough.
  • STEP 2.To prepare maida paste combine ¼ of cup corn flour, 2 tbsp of maida, ¼ tsp of pepper, ¼ tsp of salt and ½ cup of water.
  • STEP 3.Mix to form a batter, make sure no lumps are there.
  • STEP 4.Prepare a small ball sized tikkis greasing palms with oil.
  • STEP 5.Dip in prepared maida paste and cover completely with batter.
  • STEP 6.Coat with bread crumbs on all sides.
  • STEP 7.Fry the tikkis in oil. Or you can bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree celsius for 12 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Fry on medium flame, turning occasionally till cutlets turn golden brown.
  • STEP 9.Serve paneer cutlet on a plate along with tomato sauce.
