Directions: Paneer Cheese Balls Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, crumble the paneer and add mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, and spices.
  • STEP 2.Mix everything well to form a smooth dough-like mixture. Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into balls.
  • STEP 3.In a separate bowl, prepare a batter using all-purpose flour, cornflour, salt, and water. Dip each paneer ball into the batter, ensuring it is coated evenly.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai. Carefully drop the coated paneer balls into the hot oil and fry them until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Remove the fried paneer balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dip or chutney.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to crumble the paneer properly to avoid any lumps in the mixture.
  • You can add grated cheese to the mixture for an extra cheesy flavor.
  • If the mixture is too soft, you can add breadcrumbs to bind it together.
  • To make the paneer balls healthier, you can also bake them in the oven instead of deep frying.

Storage and Serving

  • Paneer cheese balls are best served hot and crispy.
  • If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake the paneer balls for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve them as an appetizer or snack with ketchup, mint chutney, or any other dip of your choice.
