Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, combine the paneer cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown. Add the marinated paneer and cook for a few minutes until it starts to brown.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat butter and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add tomato puree, cashew paste, and cream. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked paneer and vegetables to the tomato sauce. Mix well and transfer the mixture to the greased casserole dish.
  • STEP 6.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
