Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, chopped onions, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  • STEP 3.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Crumble the paneer and add it to the pan. Mix everything together and cook for a few minutes until the paneer is well coated with the spices.
  • STEP 5.Take two slices of bread and spread butter on one side of each slice. Place a generous amount of the paneer bhurji mixture on one slice and cover it with the other slice, butter side facing up.
  • STEP 6.Heat a griddle or sandwich maker and place the sandwich on it. Toast until the bread turns golden brown and crispy.
