Ingredients for Paneer Bhurji Recipe

  • 66.67 g fresh paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 0.33 Pieces large onion
  • 0.33 Pieces large tomato
  • 1 Pieces Fresh Green Chillies: Slit
  • 0.17 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 0.17 Tsp cumin paste
  • 0.33 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.17 Tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1.33 Tbsp oil
  • As Required Salt
  • As Required Sugar
  • 0.17 Tsp dry methi leaves
  • 0.33 Packet small butter cube
  • 0.33 Tbsp besan or gram flour

Directions: Paneer Bhurji Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut onions and tomatoes into tiny cubes and crumble the paneer. Make the cumin paste and keep it ready.
  • STEP 2.Now add oil in a pan and splutter with cumin seeds. Fry the onions, tomatoes and add ginger paste and sauté till the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Add salt, sugar to taste. Add turmeric powder and kashmiri red chilli powder.
  • STEP 3.Add cumin paste and green chilies and cook well till oil separates.
  • STEP 4.Now move the mixture to a side and on the other side of the pan add oil and fry besan till it is cooked and then mix with the curry. Then add the crumbled paneer and methi leaves and give a nice stir. Do not cook for more than 5 minutes. Add a dollop of butter and serve with chapati or naan.
