A healthy and delicious snack of cauliflower cakes, made from cauliflower batter, that are well seasoned and pan fried.Crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside. These cauliflower cheddar fritters are packed full of vitamins and are delicious.

Ingredients for Pan Fried Cauliflower Cakes Recipe

  • 200 gram Cauliflower
  • 100 gram Plain four
  • 2 No.s Spring onions
  • 2 No.s Eggs
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • As required oil for frying

Directions: Pan Fried Cauliflower Cakes Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.-1)chop 200 gm white flower portion of the cauliflower.

step 2

  • STEP 2.-2)place it in a food processor and blend till coarse it reaches a coarse texture.

step 3

  • STEP 3.-3)fill a saucepan with water and bring it to a boil.

step 4

  • STEP 4.-4)add the cauliflower to the boiling water and allow it to boil for 1 minute.

step 5

  • STEP 5.-5)use a sieve and strain the cauliflower. Keep it aside to cool.

step 6

  • STEP 6.-6)once cooled transfer it to a mixing bowl and crack in 2 eggs, and 2 spring onions finely chopped, ½ tsp white pepper powder, salt to taste, 100 gm plain flour, 1 tbsp oil.

step 7

  • STEP 7.-7)mix all the ingredients together well.

step 8

  • STEP 8.-8)place a pan on low heat and lightly oil it.

step 9

  • STEP 9.-9)when the oil is hot, spoon 1 serving spoon of the mixture onto the pan, leaving a little space between each cauliflower cake.

step 10

  • STEP 10.-10)fry on each side for 1 to 2 minutes till golden brown.

step 11

  • STEP 11.-11)remove from the pan and serve hot with sour cream or mayonnaise.
