  • 1/5 cup Moong Dal
  • 1/5 cup Spinach Leaves
  • 0.40 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/5 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/10 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/10 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak moong dal for 2-3 hours. Drain the water and grind it to a coarse paste.
  • STEP 2.In a mixing bowl, combine the moong dal paste, spinach puree, wheat flour, spices, and salt. Knead into a soft dough, adding water if needed.
  • STEP 3.Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into puris of desired thickness.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai. Fry the puris until they turn golden brown and puffed up. Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 5.Serve the palak moong dal ki puri hot with pickle, yogurt, or any curry of your choice.
