Ingredients for Palak Lasuni Recipe

  • 500 gram palak
  • As required Water
  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon sarso oil
  • 1 teaspoon jeera khada
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 6 green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 5 teaspoon Dahi
  • As required Salt
  • As required Tadka
  • 3 teaspoon sarso oil
  • 2 teaspoon chopped garlic

Directions: Palak Lasuni Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take 500gms spinach and cook it for 2 mins in boiling water.

  • STEP 1.Once done drain the water with the help of a sieve and wash the cooked spinach with cold water.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Divide the cooked spinach into two parts and blend one of the parts and with the other part chop it into small pieces.

  • STEP 1.Dice the onions and chop the garlic. Also chop the green chilies.

  • STEP 1.Take a kadai to add 2 big tsp mustard oil. Then add 1tsp cumin seeds and chopped garlic slightly saute them.

  • STEP 1.Once the garlic starts changing its color add the diced onion and let them cook.

  • STEP 1.Then add the chopped green chilies, 1tsp turmeric powder, and 1tsp cumin powder and saute them until all mixes properly.

  • STEP 1.Now we will add the chopped spinach and mix it well with the masala on low to medium flame.

  • STEP 1.Turn off the gas and let it cool for a while. Now we will add 5tbsp curd(room temperature).

  • STEP 1.Now we will add 5tbsp curd(room temperature).

  • STEP 2.Now we will again turn on the flame and keep it on medium to low flame.

  • STEP 3.And keep mixing the curd simultaneously and let the water dry.

  • STEP 4.Now we will add the spinach puree, mix it well, add salt to taste and cover it with the lid for 2mins.

  • STEP 5.Now in a small kadai add 3tsp mustard oil and 2tbsp chopped garlic fry it till the garlic turns golden brown.

  • STEP 6.Add it to the cooked spinach recipe for extra fragrance and taste.

  • STEP 7.Serve it hot with paratha or rice.
