Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.To make the spinach balls, blanch the spinach and squeeze out the excess water.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix together the blanched spinach, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, and spices.
  • STEP 3.Shape the mixture into small balls and deep fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.To make the curry, heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, and tomatoes.
  • STEP 5.Add the spices and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 6.Add water and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Add the spinach balls to the curry and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot with rice or roti.
