STEP 1.Take a pan and add 2 cup of water and let it boil.
STEP 2.As it starts boiling add palak and boil it for 7-8 mins.
STEP 3.Remove the leaves and put it in a bowl of cold water, this helps in retaining its colour.
STEP 4.Make a puree and keep aside.
STEP 5.In a kadai take oil and add bay leaves and chopped onion and saute till it changes in colour.
STEP 6.Add chilli paste, garlic paste and ginger paste and saute for 2 mins.
STEP 7.Add chopped tomatoes and all masalas and add little water and cover and cook till tomatoes are soft and mushy.
STEP 8.Add the chicken, salt to taste and mix well with masalas and add 1/4 cup water and cover and cook on low flame till chicken is soft.
STEP 9.Add palak puree and add little water if required to make gravy and cook for 10 mins.
STEP 10.Serve hot with Roti or Naan.
