Ingredients for Palada Payasam Recipe

  • 0.17 cup Ada boiled
  • 0.33 liter Milk
  • 0.17 cup Sugar
  • 0.33 liter Water
  • 0.33 tablespoon Ghee
  • 0.08 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 8.33 gram Cashews
  • 8.33 gram Raisins

Directions: Palada Payasam Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pan heat 2 tbsp ghee. Pour in 2 litre of water and bring to boil.
  • STEP 2.Add 2 litre of milk and continuously stir the mix.
  • STEP 3.Boil the mix in a low flame till the entire mix becomes of half quantity.
  • STEP 4.Add 1 cup of sugar and stir the mix till it gets a light brown shade.
  • STEP 5.Add boiled ada to the mix. Allow it to boil .
  • STEP 6.Turn the flame to low heat and add ½ tsp of cardamom powder.
  • STEP 7.Cook till it gets a medium thick consistency.
  • STEP 8.Turn off the flame. Garnish the payasam with roasted cashews and raisins.
