Ingredients for Paksha Bexuk/Pork With Dried Chillies Recipe

  • 250 gram Pork
  • 7-8 Dry red chillies Nos
  • 7-8 Red chilli powder slit
  • 1 inch Ginger crushed
  • 1 Onion thinly sliced Nos
  • 1 Potato medium sized, peeled and cubed Nos
  • As required Salt for seasoning

Directions: Paksha Bexuk/pork With Dried Chillies Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Boil 250 gms lean and lard pork with 1 tsp salt in water for 30 to 45 minutes. When pork is cooked remove it from the water.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan and add the boiled pork to the pan. Since the pork has lard (fat) no oil is added to the pan. Add 7 to 8 dry red chillies and 1 tsp red chilli powder.mix well to combine.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add water to the level of the pork, add 1 cubed potato, cover and cook till chilies are cooked soft.

step 4

  • STEP 1.At this stage add 1 inch ginger grated. Mix well. Cover and continue to cook till potatoes are almost done.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Then add 1 onion thinly sliced. Cook for another5 minutes and turn off the heat. Paksha bexuk is ready.
