0.33 cup Cooked rice (preferably leftover from previous meal)
1.67 cups Water –(as needed to soak rice)
0.67 tbsp Curd (optional
As required for sourness)
0.33 nos Green chili slit
As required Ginger ½ tsp grated
3.67 nos Curry Leaves –
As required Mustard seeds ½ tsp
0.33 nos Dry red chili
0.33 tsp Oil or Aashirvaad Ghee
As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
As required Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Directions: Pakhal Bhaat Recipe
STEP 1.Take cooked rice in a bowl add enough water to cover it and let it rest for 6–8 hours or overnight for natural sourness
STEP 2.Next day heat oil or ghee in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves,
STEP 3.dry red chili, ginger and green chili sauté for a minute Pour this tempering into soaked rice
STEP 4.Add curd if using mix well
STEP 5.and season with Aashirvaad Salt Garnish with coriander leaves
