Ingredients for Pakhal bhaat Recipe

  • 0.33 cup Cooked rice (preferably leftover from previous meal)
  • 1.67 cups Water –(as needed to soak rice)
  • 0.67 tbsp Curd (optional
  • As required for sourness)
  • 0.33 nos Green chili slit
  • As required Ginger ½ tsp grated
  • 3.67 nos Curry Leaves –
  • As required Mustard seeds ½ tsp
  • 0.33 nos Dry red chili
  • 0.33 tsp Oil or Aashirvaad Ghee
  • As required Aashirvaad Salt as per taste
  • As required Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions: Pakhal Bhaat Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take cooked rice in a bowl add enough water to cover it and let it rest for 6–8 hours or overnight for natural sourness
  • STEP 2.Next day heat oil or ghee in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves,
  • STEP 3.dry red chili, ginger and green chili sauté for a minute Pour this tempering into soaked rice
  • STEP 4.Add curd if using mix well
  • STEP 5.and season with Aashirvaad Salt Garnish with coriander leaves
