Ingredients for Pad Woon Sen Recipe

  • As required For Pad Woon Sen
  • 80 gram glass noodles
  • 5 6 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 large onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white or black pepper
  • 150 gram ground pork or dark meat poultry, or sub another protein of your choice
  • 1/2 cup carrot, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced on a bias
  • 1.50 cup cabbage, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes, drained well
  • 2 Egg
  • As required Optional garnish: Green onions or cilantro
  • As required Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Golden Mountain sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Approx 0.5 water

Directions: Pad Woon Sen Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak glass noodles in room temperature water for 7-10 minutes until soft and pliable. Pour the water off, then cut the noodles in halves or thirds with scissors to shorten them.

step 2

  • STEP 2.To make the sauce, in a small bowl, mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, golden mountain sauce, and sugar.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add oil to a large saute pan and heat it on medium heat. Add garlic, onions, pepper, and cook until the garlic starts to turn golden. Add meat and turn the flame to high and cook till its 80% done.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Add the cabbage and carrot along with 2 tsp of the sauce, and cook for a minute to wilt the veggies.
