It is a dish prepared from thai basil,spicy chillies, pungent fish and chicken. Rice krapow belongs to pad. Eating pad krapow without rice is like eating a jar of sauce without adding anything. Rice counteracts the heat as it is mild and soft, and the nutty taste of pandan or glutinous rice gives an extra dimension to the whole. Pad Kra Pao is a very popular Thai food dish between local people in Thailand. "Pad" means "fried" and "Kra Pao" is the Thai name of Holy basil that is one of the main ingredients. Pad Kra Pao can be cooked with chicken, pork, beef, seafood, tofu, or whatever you want. It is served with rice.

- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Nos fresh chilli peppers
- 1 Nos shallots
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1.50 tablespoon fish sauce
- 250 gram minced chicken
- As required Fresh beans
- 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
- As required Holy basil

How to Make Pad Kra Pao Recipe

STEP 01
Mince garlic and meat. Slice chillies and shallots. Heat pan at medium and then add oil. Add egg yolk and fry it. In a separate pan add minced garlic, chillies, shallots and saute it. Once fragrant add minced meat and fry. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce.

Now add French beans and cook until it becomes soft. Add sugar as per taste and a handful of basil. Now serve with steamed rice topped with fried egg. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
